ससून रुग्णालय - अनिरुद्ध उपासना केंद्राच्या स्वयंसेवकांनी ससून रुग्णालयाचा कानाकोपरा रविवारी साफ केला. आपली ओळख विसरून स्वयंसेवक सफाईच्या कामात दंग झाले होते.

पुणे - कोणी डॉक्‍टर, कोणी कुशल सर्जन, कोणी अभियंता, कोणी प्राध्यापक, तर कोणी उच्चपदस्थ सरकारी अधिकारी; पण सर्वांनी हातात झाडू घेतले होते. एकवेळ स्वच्छता कर्मचारी जी घाण साफ करणार नाही, ती साफ करण्याचे काम मनापासून सुरू होते. आपल्या पदाचा, व्यवसायाचाही त्यांना विसर पडला होता. चार तासांच्या श्रमदानानंतर रुग्णालयाचे तीन मजले चकाचक झाल्यावरच त्यांनी झाडू खाली ठेवले.

ससून रुग्णालयातील गेल्या चार वर्षांपासून मोफत सेवा देणाऱ्या अनिरुद्ध उपासना केंद्राच्या स्वयंसेवकांनी रविवारी हा उपक्रम राबविला. इतर लोक "वीकएंड'ची मजा लुटत असताना उपासना केंद्राचे सुमारे सव्वाशे महिला व पुरुष कार्यकर्ते सफाईच्या कामात गुंतले होते. दर तीन महिन्यांनी अशी स्वच्छता मोहीम हाती घेण्यात येते. सफाईपूर्वी रुग्णालयाची पाहणी केली जाते. कोठे व काय सफाईची गरज आहे, याचा आढावा घेऊन आवश्‍यक ते साहित्य आणले जाते. वेगवेगळी पथके करून त्यांच्यावर जबाबदाऱ्या सोपविल्या जातात. जिन्यात साठलेला कचरा, पिचकाऱ्यांनी रंगलेले खांब, छताला चिकटलेली जळमटे, तंबाखू साठलेल्या खिडक्‍या पाणी मारून स्वच्छ धुतल्या जातात. रुग्ण आणि त्यांचे नातेवाईक या उपक्रमाकडे कुतूहलाने पाहत होते. कार्यकर्ते मात्र सेवा या भावनेतूनच काम करीत होते. विशेष म्हणजे, असे काम केले की लोकांना प्रसिद्ध हवी असते. आमची नावे छापा म्हणून पत्रकारांना विनंती केली जाते. येथे मात्र उलटाच प्रकार पाहायला मिळाला, आमची नावे छापू नका, अशीच सर्वजण विनंती करीत होते

"Sagun-Nirgun" section of the daily Maharashtra Times

Bhimaji Patil

One Bhimaji Patil of Narayanagaon, Taluka Junnar, Dist. Poona, suffered in the year 1909 A.D. from a severe and chronic chest-disease which ultimately developed into Tuberculosis. He tried all sorts of pathos (remedies), but to no effect. Losing all hopes, he ultimately prayed to God - "Oh Lord Narayana, help me now". It is a well known fact that, when our circumstances are well off, we do not remember God, but when calamities and adversities overtake us, we are reminded of Him, So Bhimaji now turned to God. It occurred to him that he should consult Mr. Nanasaheb Chandorkar, a great devotee of Sai Baba, in this respect. So he wrote to him a letter, giving all details of his malady, and asking for his opinion. In reply, Mr. Nanasaheb wrote to him that there was only one remedy left, and that was to have recourse to Sai Baba's Feet. Relying on Mr. Nanasaheb's advice, he made preparations for going to Shirdi. He was brought to Shirdi and taken to the Masjid, and placed before Sai Baba. Mr. Nanasaheb and Shama (Madhavrao Deshpande) were then present. Sai Baba pointed out that the disease was due to the previous evil karma, and was not at first disposed to interfere. But the patient cried out in despair that he was helpless, and sought refuge in Him, as He was his last hope, and prayed for mercy. Then Sai Baba's heart melted an He said, "Stay, cast off your anxiety, your sufferings have come to an end. However, oppressed and troubled one may be as soon as he steps into the Masjid, he is on the pathway to happiness. The Fakir here is very kind and He will cure the disease, and protect all with love and kindness." The patient vomitted blood every five minutes, but there wa no vomiting in the presence of Baba. From the time, Sai Baba uttered the words of hope and mercy, the malady took a favourable turn. Sai Baba asked him to stay in Bhimabai's house, which was not a convenient and healthy place, but Sai Baba's order had to be obeyed. While he was staying there, Sai Baba cured him by two dreams. In the first dream, he saw himself as a boy suffering the severe pain of a flogging, which he received for not reciting his 'Swami-poetry' lesson before his class-master.
In the second dream, some one caused him intense pain, and torture, by rolling a stone up and down over his chest. With the pain thus suffered in dream, his cure was complete, and he went home.
He then often came to Shirdi, gratefully remembering what Sai Baba did for him, and prostrated before Him. Sai Baba also did not expect anything from devotees, but grateful remembrance, unchanging faith and devotion.

People in the Maharashtra, always celebrate Satya-Narayana Puja in their homes every fortnight or month. But it was this Bhimaji Patil, who started a new Sai Satya-vrata Puja, instead of Satya-Narayana-vrata Puja, in his house, when he returned to his village.

This is similar to "Satya Datta Pujan" started by P.P. Sadguru Anirudhha Bapu.

Eco-Friendly Ganesh Murti project - Award received from B.M.C.

ECO-FRIENDLY GANESH MURTI PROJECT
The Eco-Friendly Ganesh Murti Project consists of making of Lord Ganesha idols from paper pulp. This paper pulp is made from shredded paper of ‘Ramanam’ notebooks used by the devotees, who write ‘Ramanam’ and deposit these notebooks at Upasana centers or directly with Aniruddha’s Universal Bank of Ramanam (AUBR).
These Idols disintegrate easily upon submersion in water, as compared to idols made from Plaster of Paris, which takes significantly longer to disintegrate. A notable aspect is that, the paints used are non toxic, thus contributing significantly to the control over pollution of the environment.
We are pleased to inform that the ‘Shree Ganesh Gaurav Puraskar’ by Bombay Municipal Corporation for the year 2010, in the category ‘Best Sculptor’, has been awarded to Shree Aniruddha Aadesh Pathak, for its Idol placed with Pragati Mitra Mandal, Mhatrewadi, Borivali(W), which consists of a Certificate, A Memento And Cheque of Rs. 10000.

श्री साईप्रदत्त अभ्युदय पर्व

श्री साई प्रदत्त अभ्युदय पर्व म्हणजे श्रद्धावानांसाठी प्रकटलेली साक्षात गंगा आहे. या गंगेत मी मारलेली डुबकी माझ्या भक्तीचा खजिना समृद्ध करते व माझ्या पापांचा नाशही करते. येणाऱया तिसऱ्या महायुद्धासारख्या भीषण काळामध्ये ही गंगा माझ्यासाठी आई बनून रक्षण करणारच. कारण या गंगेचे उगम आणि मुखही श्री अनिरुद्ध गुरूक्षेत्रम आहे, तर आदिमाता अनसूया गंगोत्री आहे.
सदगुरू श्री अनिरुद्धांनी माझा प्रपंच व परमार्थ साधून देण्यासाठी मला बहाल केलेली ही सुवर्णसंधी आहे. १०० वर्षापूर्वी म्हणजे १९०८ च्या पौष पौर्णिमेस म्हणजेच शाकंभरी पौर्णिमेस ह्या पर्वाची सुरुवात झाली, व १९१० च्या विजया दशमीस ह्या पर्वाची सांगता झाली होती. सदगुरू श्री अनिरुद्धांच्या कृपाशिर्वादामुळे त्यांनी आजही माझ्या अभ्युदयासाठी हा सुवर्णकाळ पुन्हा माझ्या जीवनात आणला आहे. ह्या श्री साई प्रदत्त अभ्युदय पर्वाची सांगता अनिरुद्ध पौर्णिमा २०१० रोजी म्हणजेच २१ नोव्हेंबर २०१० रोजी होणार आहे. सदगुरू श्री अनिरुद्धांनी आपला अक्षय पारमार्थिक खजिना श्रद्धावानांसाठी सताड उघडा टाकला आहे व तो लुटून नेण्याची विशेष संधी ह्या पर्व काळात त्यांनी श्रद्धावानांना दिली आहे.
ह्या खजिन्याची प्राप्ती व्हावी म्हणून मला ह्या पर्व काळात तीन प्रमुख गोष्टी करायच्या आहेत त्या म्हणजे --

१) सदगुरू दत्तात्रेयांचे स्मरण व खालील श्लोकाचे पठण -
"अनसूयोत्रिसंभूतो दत्तात्रेयो दिगंबर:
स्मर्तुगामी स्वभक्तानाम उद्धार्ता भवसंकटात"

भावार्थ : अनसूया (असूयाविरहित), अत्रिंपासून संभवलेला, दिशा हेच वस्त्र असणारा, स्मरणासवेच प्रकट होणारा, भवसंकटातून आपल्या भक्तांचा उद्धार करणारा असा हा दत्तात्रेय आहे.

२) सदगुरू श्री अनिरुद्धांचे स्मरण व श्री अनिरुद्ध गायत्री मंत्राचे पठण -
"ॐ मन: प्राण: प्रज्ञा, ॐ ततगुरु दत्तस्य,
उष्णं स्निग्धम गुरो: तेजो धीमही रामे चित्तलया भवन्तु नः
ओजः अनिरुद्ध राम: प्रचोदयात"

भावार्थ : मन प्राण प्रज्ञा ह्या तीन व्याहृति आहेत. त्या गुरूदत्तांच्या उष्ण, स्निग्ध, व गुरुतेजाचे आम्ही ध्यान करतो. आमच्या चित्ताचा लय श्रीराम चरणी होवो, त्यासाठी श्री अनिरुद्धराम आमच्या ओजालाप्रबळ प्रेरणा देवो.

३) सदगुरू श्री अनिरुद्धांच्या पणजी द्वारकामाई पाध्ये यांनी विरचित केलेले आद्यकाव्य म्हणजेच खालील अभंग व त्याचे पठण -
"ज्याने धरिले हे पाय, आणि ठेविला विश्वास
त्यासी कधी ना अपाय, सदा सुखाचा सहवास
हे पाय पुरातन फार, केवळ हाची हो आधार
साई साई म्हणता धार, धीर गंगेची अपार
हे पाय कैसे तुमचे, हे तर आमुच्या सत्तेचे
ह्यांना नाही सोडणार, तू मरे- मरे- तो मार
जय जय राम कृष्ण हरी, साई झालासी त्रिपुरारी
तू येसी आमुच्या दारी, तू केवळ अनिरुद्ध हारी "

भावार्थ : ज्याने अनिरुद्धांचे पाय घट्ट धरून ठेवले आणि त्या 'पायाखाली' दृढ विश्वास ठेवला, त्याला कधीही कोणताही अपाय होणारच नाही,त्याला सदैव सुखाचा सहवास लाभणारच.जसा पपेरवेट खाली ठेवलेला कागद वारयाने उडून जात नाही, तसाच ह्याच्या पायाखाली जो विश्वास ठेवतो, त्याचा विश्वास कधीच उडत नाही, अढळ राहतो.

अनिरुद्ध त्रिपुरारी त्रिविक्रम बनून कश्यासाठी आला आहे त्याचे मर्म हा अभंग समजावून सांगतो. म्हणूनच हा अभंग आमचे जीवन 'अभंग' बनविणारा आहे.
